Justin Rhodes and Nathan Hunzakar, two seniors at Western Carolina University have created a website that revolutionizes ways of making plans for students and locals, www.cullowhere.com.
The site obtains RSS feeds from local business’s to compile events into one website, making it easier to find things that are going on in the area. Cullowhere is divided into what is going on that day and all month, giving a link and a small description for each event. The events are also easily divided into categories, to make searching that much easier.
Rhodes and Hunzaker made it to the final round in the business innovation competition, the 5 Ventures, on April 14, and although they did not win, they received a $1500 investment.
They will continue to keep up the website as they venture on as new graduates from WCU into the world in hopes to create innovative ideas such as this one.
