Western Carolina University and Last Minute Productions kicked off the NFL season with a Monday Night football party in the UC Theatre.
The Patriots/Dolphins and Raiders/Broncos games were broadcasted live on the big screen for students of the University to enjoy.
There was a turnout of around 25-30 students that came to enjoy the games. Dolphins’ fans outnumbered the Patriots’ fans, but all of them cheered equally as loud.
UC dining services and Papa John’s helped out and supplied the students with pizza, wings and drinks all at no cost.
This is the second year that Last Minute Productions has broadcasted the Monday Night Football opening game and they are planning on doing it every week for the rest of the regular season.
L.M.P encourages all students to come out and enjoy a great game and free food every Monday Night at 8:30 p.m.
