Western Carolina’s TV 62 premiered their student produced news show and sitcom: Nothing But Young on Wednesday Feb. 8.
Anchors Monica Papworth and Ariel Rymer, gave students a preview of events as well as a review of others.
The news show, which is called Channel 62 News, will produce another show next Wednesday Feb.15 from 4-6 p.m. in the CAT building.
“We are encouraging all students to come out and get involved and help with the show. Whether you’re a communication major or not the experience is great!” said KB Carpenter, Executive News Producer.
The student written and produced show, Nothing But Young, is about five college students and the ups and down students face throughout their experience. Kia Rice, writer and producer of the show, was more than excited for the show to premiere to her fellow students.
“We had a good turnout & afterwards I heard some good comments about the show! They were all asking when the next one comes on so I guess that’s great feedback,” said Rice.
The next episode of Nothing But Young will show on TV 62 on Monday.
