Western Carolina baseball is going into the 9th Annual Keith LeClair Classic against the Maryland Terrapins this Friday, Feb. 24. The Catamounts are currently undefeated and as sophomore infielder, Aaron Attaway said,
“We plan to keep it going that way.”
Attaway also commented that this is the first game they will play against a big school. Western Carolina will be one of four schools playing in the classic along-side Purdue, Maryland and East Carolina University. The games will be played in Greenville, N.C. all weekend.
“Playing on this stage can be nerve racking, but we just need to treat it like any other game,” Attaway added.
The Catamounts hope to make their presence felt in the tournament with a strong showing this weekend.
