Students and local residents can view movies that were recently at the box office for “dirt cheap.” How? Last Minute Productions (LMP) brings movies that were recently in theaters to the campus big screen.
Student tickets are $2 and non-student tickets are $4. All tickets include popcorn and a drink. Candy can also be purchased for 50 cents. With ticket prices like these, 4 students can see a movie, have popcorn and a drink for less than what one ticket would cost at the “average” theater.
LMP provides events that students can look forward to.
“I like LMP and what it offers. I’m very glad that there is an organization that does what they do and are highly active as well,” said Seth Rollins. “I’m looking forward to seeing Breaking Dawn: Part 2. Personally, I think the books are better, but it will spark a good comparison/contrast conversation about the two.”
Each weekend during the semester LMP offers a different movie. Show times for Friday are 6 p.m., 9 p.m., and midnight. Saturday shows are at 6 and 9 p.m.
