The 3rd annual Western Carolina University Valley of the Lilies Half Marathon and 5k was April 6.
Over 300 people registered to participate in the Valley of the Lilies this year. The half marathon began at 8a.m. and the 5k kicked off at 8:15a.m. The participants included WCU students, professors, community members, and even our chancelors wife, Susan Belcher. The proceeds from the race will go to help WCU students travel to professional presentations and conferences.
