Tuck’s Tap & Grille will be serving a very unique menu. One of the menu items, the Mountain Monster, is a bratwurst topped with slow smoked pulled pork, covered in crispy bacon and then topped with pepper jack cheese on a toasted hoagie. Another menu item, the Tuck Daddy, is a quarter pound Angus burger topped with smoked pulled pork, piled with onion rings, jalapenos, Monterey Jake cheese and honey bbq sauce.
The menu also includes pizza, calzones and signature salads like the Spinberry. The Spinberry is fresh spinach topped with strawberries, blueberries, candied pecans and gorgonzola cheese served with a citrus vinaigrette.
Having a hard time finding the right drink? Tuck’s Tap & Grille will have a large variety of beer and a full bar. The bar will have 30 taps so the draft options will be endless.
The owners of Tuck’s Tap & Grille, Michael Worl, Alex Leef, and Rea Rodatz, are planning many different entertainment events. Weekly entertainment will include live music, a bingo night, ladies night and a trivia night.
“We will be using technology to our advantage to optimize the dining experience,” Worl said.The wait staff will be using Android devices to minimize the amount of steps between the table and the kitchen.
Tuck’s Tap & Grille will provide customers with Wi-Fi and DirecTV. There are 16 televisions as well as a ten by ten drop down projection screen located behind the stage.
“We plan on showing some of the UFC fights as well as NFL games,” Leef said.
Tuck’s Tap & Grille will also be doing fundraisers and finding other ways to give back to the community.
“I want people to understand that we are not just here as a business or to make a living. We want to give back to Cullowhee. We want to give back to the community,” Worl said.

Tuck’s Tap & Grille will be open 11 a.m. through 10 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday. Wednesday through Saturday Tuck’s will open at 11 a.m. and close at 2 a.m. At 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday the kitchen will start serving a limited menu.
