Press Release of CVS PTA
The Cullowhee Valley School Parents/Teachers Association is hosting its annual festival from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 26, at Cullowhee Valley School.
The event aims to raise money for the Cullowhee Valley School PTA to be used for school projects and equipment purchases throughout the year.
“We have a committee who, along with school officials, has worked hard to put the annual festival together,” said Todd Vinyard, president of the association.
On Friday the Cullowhee Valley School front yard turns into a fairground with a cotton candy booth, face painting, inflatable games and more activities. Visitors will be able to participate in the one-mile Fun Run/Walk at 5:30 p.m. and can try their luck at the cake walk for sweet prizes.
Food and drinks will be available at the school’s cafeteria.
The association also had organized a silent auction featuring items to bid on including artwork, golf packages, tickets to area sporting events like the Atlanta Braves, tickets to attractions such as Dollywood and Georgia Aquarium, and area restaurant gift certificates and baskets.
