North Carolina’s primary elections are on March 15, 2016, and voters will have a chance to change North Carolina through a new bond referendum.
According to their website, the NC Connect bond referendum is “$2 billion of targeted long-term investments”, impacting things such as the UNC school systems, community colleges, parks and zoos, agriculture, etc.
WCU’s administration has held several forums and events explaining the bond to the public.
WCJ took to WCU’s campus, asking students their opinions on the bond and how much they know about it, especially in regards to the new Natural Sciences building WCU will gain through the bond.
The video below shows student’s responses.
