Western Carolina University prides itself on being an engaged and ‘hands-on’ institution of higher education. By using various programs, WCU provides its students with opportunities to start up a business or develop inventions that will be used in the industry.
Prime examples are the Epic Innovation, a student initiative that brings together future entrepreneurs, and the School of Engineering and Technology with their capstone project class that pairs students with an industry on developing innovations that could be used in the businesses.
