Students at Western Carolina University had a chance to get their holiday shopping done early at the 10th Annual Handmade Holiday sale.
The event was started in 2009, attracting more and more vendors and shoppers every year. All of the vendors were students, staff or alumni from Western Carolina coming back to share their goods and talk with other locals.
The WCU Fine Art Museum presented the event and several of the vendors also have art on display in the museum. The museum is open year-round and includes four galleries, a permanent collection, and exhibitions. The museum aims to provide learning opportunities for students and members of the community. John W. Bardo Fine and Performing Arts Center held the sale on Nov. 21, 2019.

Although the craft sale was a one-day event you can still shop for the holidays. Ann Suggs and her team work year-round. More information can be found on their web site.
