The Rabbithole: Interview with SGA VP candidate Kasson Mitchell

The Student Government Association elections are underway and will end on March 3, at 11:45 p.m. Students can vote at the UC or on Engage.

The candidates for SGA President are Dawson Spencer and Tristan Benson.  Spencer plans to focus professionalism, transparency and accountable leadership. Benson plans to focus on mutual respect, consistency and elevate.Both Benson and Spencer are respected veterans of SGA who have held a variety of positions within SGA.

The SGA Vice Presidential race is between Aaron Speyer and Kasson Mitchell. Speyer currently serves on David Rhode’s executive board as Director of Finance. Mitchell is a Senator and the Chair of the Finance Committee. Speyer is focusing on health and safety, community engagement and stronger representation. Mitchell is focusing on diversity, student involvement and unity.
