The 2022 Ingles Southern Conference Tournament is slated to begin on Thursday, March 3 with the women’s final on Sunday, March 6 at 12 p.m. and the mens final Monday, March 7 at 7 p.m. All games will be played at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Asheville, NC.
The lady cats tip off their first round against the #1 seeded Mercer Bears at 11 a.m. on Thursday March 3. The cats lost both of their matchups against the Bears by a combined score of 115 to 98 this season.
The men’s team will also tip off against the #7 seeded Mercer Bears on Friday, March 4 at 7:30 p.m. The catamounts split the season series against the bears, winning their most recent matchup 69-65 on Feb. 19.
Both men’s and women’s teams were eliminated from the tournament in the first round in 2021.
