Coming to the end of the year, students had fun at the carnival to enjoy a night of stress-free fun!

The rescheduled carnival was on April 19 & 20 during the Student Appreciation Week (SAW). SAW had week-long activities as a way to say thank you for being a WCU student.

“We had approx. 3,000 total attend the carnival. There were about 2,800 students. Any issues that were brought up were solved immediately by the organizers. Our last event of the school year is the Luau… RSVPs are required,” said assistant director for WCU Communication, Diane Swenson in an email.

LMP’s Luau takes place on April 27 from 7-9 p.m. on the UC lawn. Free Hawaiian food samples will be provided by the cafeteria following the theme. “Hula Carolina will be performing traditional Hawaiian dances for the students along with hosting contests,” says the LMP engage link.

RSVP and enjoy the Luau festivities!
