Unaffiliated voters are the largest voting bloc in North Carolina at 75% according to Blue Ridge Public Radio, making it a purple state. A poll taken of WCU students supports this conclusion and shows that a larger percentage of students are unaffiliated. Prior the midterm elections we talked to WCU students on how they identify and what they care about.
