Jackson county residents who live within the lines of Sylva, Dillsboro, Webster, Forest Hills and Highlands are choosing the town representatives – mayors and town council representatives. The early voting period ends Saturday at 3 p.m. This is important for residents who are not registered. The early voting period allows for same day registration and voting. This is not possible on the election day, Nov. 4.
