WCU is hosting a lot of sports events this weekend and WCU Athletics needs students to show up and support the athletes and show their Catamount pride.
Men’s Basketball opened home play on Nov. 11 with a 95-44 win against Voorhees Tigers. The team is 1-2 this season after games against Cincinnati and Duke. This game was streamed live on ESPN+.

Friday, Nov. 14, the Volleyball team takes on the Furman Paladins in the Ramsey Center at 6 p.m. The team is 7-18 this season. This game is a whiteout. It will be streamed on ESPN+.
Saturday, Nov.15, is the final home game for the football team. They are playing the Eastern Tennessee State University Buccaneers at noon at Bob Waters Field E.J. Whitmire Stadium. This game is a blackout and senior day.
Following the conclusion of that game, the Volleyball team has its last game of the regular season at 6 P.M. against Mercer in the Ramsey Center. Both games will be on ESPN+.
Sunday, Nov. 16, is a Men’s and Women’s basketball doubleheader. The Men will open the doubleheader at 1 p.m. against Stetson in the SoCon/ASUN Challenge. The team’s leading scorer is Julien Soumaoro. The Women cap off the night against the number 6 team in the country, Oklahoma. The Women’s basketball team is 2-1. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+.
