Cats sweep Moorehead State Eagles

Opening weekend for the Western Carolina University baseball team February 18-20, was a success. The Cats swept the series with a 9-3 win on Friday, 18-0 on Saturday, and a close 9-6 win on Sunday. The Cats’ next home series starts Friday February 25.

With the game tied at 68, and the game clock expiring, Western Carolina freshman guard Trey Sumler was fouled on a last second shot.
